Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the list of grant recipients for 15 world-class research and educational centers, which will receive funding from the federal budget. In total, more than 1.8 billion rubles will be allocated for support.
Ural Federal University, as a participant of the Ural Interregional Research and Educational Center for Advanced Production Technologies and Materials (UIREC) received a grant of more than 157 million rubles. The funds can be used, among other things, to purchase state-of-the-art hardware, equip laboratories, and fund projects.
“Our science has a great potential. We will continue to help to realize it to the fullest extent so that Russian scientists and inventors could achieve further successes,” – said Mikhail Mishustin.
UIREC is involved in promising research and development, which is necessary for the technological advancement of the country, the launch of new production facilities and the implementation of advanced solutions.
