Representatives of ANO Regional Infrastructure of Education and Science and South Ural State University paid working visits to LD Pryde LLC and SpetsAgregat Plant LLC. The participants of the working meetings discussed the development of new scientific and technical projects within the Ural REC.
Thus, the meetings raised the issue of the prospects for the development of projects aimed at import substitution and the importance of their implementation for the Chelyabinsk region. The guests were also given excursions to the production sites of the enterprises.
The employees of LD Pride LLC told about the project planned to be implemented jointly with SUSU, which is aimed at creating domestic production of bellows-type thermal regulators.
“At the moment there are no manufacturers of bellows-type thermoregulators in Russia. The aim of the project is to develop design and technology to prepare a full-cycle production of high-quality and durable thermoregulators. This will allow to reduce the market dependence on imported components in favor of the domestic manufacturer, which in turn will have a favorable impact on the development of the manufacturing industry of the region”, – commented the technologist of LLC “LD Pride” Sergey Strugov.
The Miass plant “SpetsAgregat”, a large enterprise producing road sweeping and airfield special equipment, as well as attachments for various types of chassis, together with the scientific team of SUSU plans to implement a project to develop and create a high-tech production of a set of attachments for special equipment.
According to Evgeny Neschastny, First Deputy General Director of SpetsAgregat Plant LLC, the Russian market of attachment complexes for special vehicles is almost entirely made up of foreign-made products. Therefore, it is necessary to create high-quality domestic equipment. The realization of the project will ensure technological independence of the aviation industry and road facilities of the region and the country as a whole.
During the discussion of key issues they also emphasized the importance of interaction of all participants in the development and support of projects, regional support measures for scientific and technological projects of the Ural Research and Development Center and the need to develop scientific and production cooperation in the region.
